Summertime Fun!

Summer is here, and camping is in full swing!  Ohioans have patiently waited months to get their recreational vehicles on the road.

Now that it has warmed up make sure to contact your agent to make sure you are covered properly.

Before you hitch up you should know a few things about your RV insurance.

1. Liability extends from the vehicle towing the RV, so if you put your truck in storage during the winter make sure it has the coverage necessary to extend to your RV.
2. While the RV is in motion you will need collision coverage to protect it in the event of an accident.
3. If your RV has become permanently parked at a campground make sure you call your agent with the address.  Any permanently installed features such as a deck will need to be added to the policy in order for coverage to be provided.
4. You may want to add personal effects coverage to your policy, to ensure your camping gear is covered while in the camper.

Now, pack up those s’mores and enjoy the summer!
